This is a really unique record. Experimental for sure, but really fucking heavy. And then the saxophone comes in and your mind gets blown. It's extreme, aggressive, but really creative. They use synths and textures in a way that's organic. Nicely done!

The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel.
